How do remote inspections work?

Keyhook users have access to our remote inspection feature. This allows landlords to easily conduct an inspection remotely.
Many insurance providers require inspections to happen at least every 3 months. This can be a real burden for many landlords.
When a new inspection is scheduled, you will be given the option to choose between conducting an in-person inspection or a remote inspection.
If the remote inspection feature is chosen, your tenants will be prompted to conduct an inspection through our app. Keyhook will guide them through the property, asking them to highlight each room's specific features.
Once the inspection is conducted, it is added to the inspection page in Keyhook. From there you'll be able to review the inspection and pass or fail any items as you see fit. If something is not clear, you can ask your tenants for more photos in the messages section of the inspection page.
