Can I use my own tradesperson?

Keyhook allows you to have a hands off experience when it comes to handling service requests and maintenance issues, currently we source tradespeople for service requests from our network of tradespeople around the country.

You may have your own trusted tradesperson that you would like to handle any jobs that are undertaken for your property, you are able to add "Preferred Tradesperson" for different trade categories and Keyhook will contact these tradespeople when getting quotes for any jobs.

Please note that if these tradepeople are unable to take on the job, then we will then source a tradesperson from our network.
You can add multiple tradespeople for a single category.

To add a preferred tradesperson, do the following:

Web

1. Go to the property page for the property you wish to add a tradesperson for.

2. Find the button under your properties address which says "Preferred Tradesperson" and click it.

3. You will be taken to a page where you can see any existing preferred tradespeople that you have added.

4. Click "Add Preferred Tradesperson", you will be taken to a new page with a form.

5. Fill in the form with the requested information.

App:

1. Go to the property screen for the property you wish to add a trades person for.

2. Tap the 3 vertical dots button in the top right hand corner and then press the "Preferred Tradesperson" option in the menu.

3. You will be taken to a screen where you can see any existing preferred tradespeople that you have added.

4. Click "Add Preferred Tradesperson", you will be taken to a new screen with a form.

5. Fill in the form with the requested information.
