Keyhook's bond payment system will allow you to pay your portion of the bond individually. We will file your bond with Tenancy Services once we have received the bond payments from all tenants within the tenancy.

Currently, Keyhook only allows rent to be paid via internet banking. To find the payment details, follow these instructions:

In the web app or mobile app:

  1. Go to your dashboard in the web app or open the mobile app.

  2. Click on the property card that you wish to pay rent for.

  3. You will see a card titled "Bond Payment"

  4. This will show Keyhook's bank account details and the rent details for your tenancy.

  5. Copy this information into your internet banking provider. It is important that you copy this information exactly. There are buttons you can click on the right hand side of the field to automatically copy the value to your clipboard.

  6. This card will disappear and you will receive a notification once we have received your bond payment.

It is crucial that you use the exact reference we provide, this reference will change for each tenancy you are part of through Keyhook and it means that our system can track your bond payment properly. Failure to include it or mistyping it will mean that we won't be able to associate your bond payment with your Keyhook account.

References for bond payments will always start with a "b-". Please note that lowercase and uppercase letters must be typed exactly as they are shown in the web/mobile app.

Due to bank processing times, it may take several hours before we are able to verify your payment has been made.

If you have paid your bond and Keyhook has not credited your account after 1 business day, contact support@keyhook.com.
